Breaking: Sokoto Rep, Danbuga is dead

A member of the House of Representatives, Rep. AbdulKadii Jelani Danbuga is dead.
The lawmaker reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday in Abuja, after a brief illness. He was said to have been admitted to the hospital on Tuesday.

His remains has been flown to Sokoto, where he will be buried in accordance with Islamic rights.

Danbuga represented Isa-Sabon Federal Constituency of Sokoto State. He was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Following the news of his death, the House adjourned plenary to Thursday in respect of the deceased.
Recall that a member-elect, Isma’ila Maihanchi, who was to represent Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency of Taraba State, died a few days before the 10th National Assembly was inaugurated.
